Our new #NorthEastInspired masks is a collaboration between NEST by Arpit Agarwal and 'Swahlee' - an impact driven workshop based in Guwahati that provides employment and holistic care to young women who face barriers to ethical, safe employment. These barriers include lack of access to education, absence of viable job opportunities and vulnerabilities from past trauma.

Our masks 3 layered made using cotton fabric which are block printed by hand. The motifs are inspired by North-East India. These masks are locally made and are reusable.

Please note our mask is not a medical device and is not meant for people with direct exposure to the virus. These are meant to be used by general public for safety as recommended by Government of India.

By buying these masks you are not only supporting the idea of 'Vocal for Local' but also these fighting women.

Size : 4.0 inches x 7 inches approx.

Washing Instructions : Gentle hand wash in cold water only. Please do not rub the print. Please do not iron directly on the print and elastic.

Superb Quality, Super Comfortable

The masks are made of superior quality products, the material is very soft, breathable, and the strings do not hurt behind the ears.
Most Importantly, owing to the size of the mask, the entire nose, mouth and lower part of face gets covered thereby ensuring maximum safety to any viruses.

Always been impressed by the thoughtfulness, designs and care taken to ensure best user experience, on the part of designers and craftsmen.

The material used is good. The mask needs to fit well. it keeps slipping grom the nose. May consider redesigning it. Regards

Fabulous

These masks are so comfortable, durable and beautifully-made. The prints are fantastic and I wish the fabric were on sale -- I would gladly buy it to make cushion covers or clothing! Look forward to seeing more printed masks along these lines. Would make a lovely gift as well.
