The state is gifted with vast aquatic resources apart from the major river systems of the mighty Brahmaputra and the Barak with their numerous tributaries. Assam is rich in fish diversity and boasts being home to almost all freshwater species available in the North Eastern region. Polo, Khaloi, Jakoi, Chepa, Boa are few fishing equipments used by the people of Assam. But unfortunately, due to lack of proper planning and proper conservation measures fish species are depleting very rapidly in the state.

Care Instructions : 
-Please do not wash or put the plate in running water.
-To remove dust from the plate please use only dry and very soft cotton cloth to clean the plate gently. 
-For cleaning use a very soft dry cotton cloth first and then use slightly damp cotton cloth to clean it.
-If you are using them as a dry snack plate, please keep them away from metal utensils or other utensils to avoid scratches.
