Bamboo Logs of Tripura Notebook

Bamboo is one of the most important sources of livelihood for the people of North East India. Tripura along with North-East India grows almost two-thirds of India's bamboo and is known for its exquisite bamboo and cane craftsmanship. Workers transporting bamboo logs down the Longai river near the Tripura-Mizoram border is a breathtaking sight. The Bamboo logs tied as rafts for transportation form a long trail of rafts moving parallel to each other.
