Assam Wildlife Kaziranga Safari - Art Print Only

The Kaziranga National Park in the state of Assam is home to the Greater One Horned Rhinoceros. Also referred to as the Indian Rhinoceros, the animal invokes great pride in the people of the state. An elephant safari at Kaziranga is the most delightful to experience the magnificence of the rhino, a unique and endangered species. An elephant safari takes you through the high grasslands, across marshy areas into the deepest parts of the forest reserve, to a close proximity of the rhinos. Despite its fearsome appearance, they are a peaceful animal. At the Kaziranga National Park they can be seen roaming freely in grasslands, near water sources, crossing jungle tracks et al, and does not mind the elephant treading close to it. If you are lucky, on your elephant ride across Kaziranga you might be able to see a mother with her children near one of the numerous ponds dotting the jungle. Just like, we did.
