In Assam, fishing is not only a source of food, but also a source of income. The state is gifted with vast aquatic resources apart from the major river systems of the mighty Brahmaputra and the Barak with their numerous tributaries. Assam is rich in fish diversity and boasts being home to almost all freshwater species available in the North Eastern region. Polo, Khaloi, Jakoi, Chepa, Boa are few fishing equipments used by the people of Assam. But unfortunately, due to lack of proper planning and proper conservation measures fish species are depleting very rapidly in the state.

Excellent Art Prints

The prints were excellent! The size and quality of paper used was also very good. The delivery was prompt and the packaging was very unique. Looking forward to many more Assam themed prints in future. If possible try to provide some smaller print options as well.
